What product keeps all your tires - steer, drive and trailer - rolling with no vibration and even tread wear?
What product works continuously for the life of the tire, without ever having to be adjusted or re-installed?
What product uses advanced technology and is actually more effective and less expensive than lead weights?
EQUAL is a dry polymer that can be injected into tires directly through the valve stem. Once inside the tire cavity,
the EQUAL granules are forced across the tread width and around the circumference of the tire, responding to
force variations caused by non-uniformities within the tire, the road and even the load. EQUAL repositions as the
load and speed change to maintain a vibration-free, stable footprint.
The improvement will be obvious the first time you get behind the wheel. You'll feel less shimmy, bouncing and
overall vibration. The ride is smooth, comfortable and stable.
Equally as important as a better ride is a better bottom line. EQUAL saves you money. Period. Even tire wear
means thousands of extra miles on each and every tire. Less shimmy means fewer alignments and fewer component
and maintenance problems caused by vibration. And a one-time installation of EQUAL means you'll never have to
pay to re-balance the tire again.
EQUAL gives you Immediate and Long Term Results. Try it on one truck. Drive it for a day and you'll
immediately feel how well it works. Drive it for a while and you'll see how dramatically it reduces tire wear. When
you see how well it works you'll never mount another tire without EQUAL.
How EQUAL Works Tire and/or wheel assembly vibrations may be caused by imbalance, excessive runout or force vibration.
Force variation is the result of tire/wheel, brake drum/rotor inconsistencies along with other rotating axle end
components and variables in operating conditions that cause vibrations as the tire contacts the road surface
under load.
EQUAL has the ability to adapt, respond and dampen vibrations at the tire footprint. It compensates for
irregularities found in both the tire and wheel assembly and at the tire road surface contact.
Because EQUAL is free to move inside the tire, it is able to continuously adapt to changing speeds, acceleration,
decelartion, cornering forces, and other typical road conditions.
EQUAL reduces tire vibration in 3 ways:
- It acts as a vibration dampener, absorbing tire vibration at all points around the tire's circumference.
- It serves as a force reducer in the footprint area — applying a force downward on the tire as it moves
trough the footprint.
- It performs as a mass balancer moving into a balanced position within the tire.
In all cases, tire vibration producing forces are reduced before they are transmitted to the vehicle suspension
system. | | |
